Mr. Amed embraces an unequaled passion for his clients and law in and outside of the court room.  After graduating from law school in 2001, Mr. Amed spent several years practicing at a high powered litigation firm in New York City before entering his own private practice.  Throughout his career, he has represented some of the world’s leading financial institutions and multinational corporations in a variety of forums in the United States, Asia and Europe.  He has tried cases in both state and federal court, as well as before arbitral tribunals.  An avid traveler of the world, Naved’s diverse background and experience is drawn upon in resolving complex matters and challenging disputes.  Clients benefit from Naved’s extensive experience in litigation and working with companies and individuals seeking to establish or expand their operations worldwide.

Naved has a particular zeal in the appellate arena, taking apart and putting together complicated trial records, and reassembling them in the countless appellate briefs he has submitted in courts across the country.  His briefs are congenial, (and often) humorous in his approach to complicated and difficult areas of law.  Citing and discussing cases can be a boring task, but let him reconstruct your jigsaw puzzle of facts and you might even crack a smile as you read it.

Naved is also committed to issues of diversity and community service within the legal profession, providing pro bono appellate counsel on constitutional rights issues and mentoring young attorneys and law students with their legal writing and oral advocacy skills.  When not at the office, Naved and his wife enjoy catching Yankees baseball games and venturing off on unchartered exotic trips throughout the world.

Mr. Amed has been in practice for thirteen years, is admitted in New York State Courts, the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York in the Federal Court System, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
